{"id":1236,"date":"2014-01-08T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-01-08T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/protherics2.aazzxx.com\/news\/btgs-manufacturing-facility-in-west-wales-awarded-top-environmental-standard\/"},"modified":"2022-09-08T09:52:02","modified_gmt":"2022-09-08T09:52:02","slug":"btgs-manufacturing-facility-in-west-wales-awarded-top-environmental-standard","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/serb.com\/nl\/news\/btgs-manufacturing-facility-in-west-wales-awarded-top-environmental-standard\/","title":{"rendered":"BTG\u2019s manufacturing facility in west Wales awarded top Environmental Standard"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Green Dragon Level 5 Environmental Standard Achieved<\/em><br><\/strong><br>London, UK, 8 January 2014\u00a0Protherics UK Ltd, BTG plc\u2019s manufacturing facility in Ceredigion, west Wales is pleased to announce that the facility has been awarded Level 5 of the Green Dragon Environmental Standard following an independent audit of its environmental policies and procedures by Groundwork Wales, a UKAS Accredited Inspection Body.<br><br>The Protherics UK Ltd manufacturing facility in Wales plays an important role on the manufacture of CroFab\u00ae\u00a0(crotalidae polyvalent immune fab (ovine)) and DigiFab\u00ae\u00a0(digoxin immune fab (ovine)), two of BTG\u2019s specialty pharmaceutical acute care antidotes, used in the hospital setting to treat serious medical toxicities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Green Dragon is a stepped Standard, recognising effective environmental management. It offers an environmental management system relevant to the specific needs of companies and organisations and rewards actions taken to achieve environmental improvements. There are five levels within the Green Dragon Standard, with Level 5 the highest level, with each step contributing towards achievement of the International and European Environmental Standards ISO 14001 and EMAS.
